Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian side violated the Complex of Additional Ceasefire Control Measures one time, spokesman for the DPR PMD Pavel Fomenko reported at the briefing on December 1.
- At the Mariupol front, militants from the 36th AFU brigade’s marine battalion opened fire at the Kominternovo area from their positions in the Talakovka area in violation of Clause 2 of the Additional Measures by using BMP-1 and small arms.
The fact of gross ceasefire violation was promptly reported to Ukrainian representatives to the JCCC in order to take measures against the violators.
During the past 24 hours, in violation of Clause 3 of the Additional Measures, the AFU deployed 39 units of armament and military equipment near residential buildings and municipal facilities in the Ukraine-controlled territory.
Among them, the 11th SAM regiment deployed four BUK-M1 anti-aircraft missile systems near the Artyomovsk railway station. It is important to note that in order to hide the heavy SAMs, the AFU deployed three of them in the yards of nearby separate houses and one in the yard of the orthodox church located near the station.
“Also, in order to prevent OSCE SMM drones from detecting prohibited weapons in the zone of responsibility of the 72 separate mechanized brigade and the 36 separate marine brigade, a flying squad from the 306 EW separate battalion was jamming the flight control and navigation channels of the OSCE Mission by using a Bukovel-AD station in the Avdeyevka area. In addition, we detected the work of the 36 AFU brigade’s EW company in the Berdyanskoye area when an OSCE patrol was using a drone in the specified area,” Pavel Fomenko reported.
