The Republic Center of Emergency Medical Aid and Disaster Medicine of the Donetsk People’s Republic is ready to conduct activities and exercises jointly with public authorities in resolving crisis situations, Chief Medical Officer of the institution Sergey Bondarenko said.
“In the course of the joint activities, exercises will be conducted to improve cooperation between ministries and agencies in case of both man-made and natural emergency situations in the Republic.
To this end, reserve beds have been prepared in the departments, water, medications and consumables have been stocked, and temporary accommodation facilities for victims have been arranged. The staff of medical institutions conducted training sessions on warning and acting during emergency situations,” Sergey Bondarenko said.
