Kiev continues to deliberately evade the implementation of the Minsk Agreements. Unfortunately, the next proposals that Ukraine put forward to resolve the situation in Donbass once again demonstrate the desire of the Ukrainian side to delay the process, Deputy Chairwoman of the DPR Public Chamber Ekaterina Martyanova claimed today, on November 23.
“All “peaceful” statements by Zelensky and his team turned out to be nothing more than just grandstanding. Frankly delusional proposals that do not contribute to the Complex of Measures for the resolution of the situation in Donbass, constant reshuffles among representatives in the Contact Group. We all saw how fast the first Ukrainian Prime Minister Vitold Fokin, who expressed his position on amnesty and further implementation of the Minsk Agreements, was removed from the Ukrainian delegation. All this shows that Ukrainian authorities never intended to follow the path of peace and are not going to yet,” the Deputy Chairwoman of the DPR Public Chamber said.
She also noted that the new peace settlement plan recently announced by Kiev is nothing but a forcible seizure of our territories.
“It is not enough to say that the plan contradicts the Minsk Agreements, it fundamentally contradicts even the common sense. Kiev wants to take our territories and allegedly “its” property, which it threw in at the deep end, and also to get the border with Russia. At the same time, the Ukrainian delegation in Minsk dictates to the President of the Russian Federation what decrees and laws he must cancel.
Zelensky once said in front of the AFU military that he would liberate Donbass as our ancestors liberated Kiev in 1943, thus comparing us with the fascists. Now we see the Verkhovna Rada considering a draft law on internment of war prisoners, which once again proves that our lands are the only thing Kiev needs.
However, Zelensky’s desires will never come true. Donbass will not turn away from its path and will not yield a single inch of its land to the Ukrainian fascists,” Martyanova stressed.
