The Ukrainian side violated the Complex of Additional Measures of control over compliance with the truce five times for the past 24 hours, a spokesman for the DPR People’s Militia Directorate reported at the briefing in Donetsk on November 24.
- At the Gorlovka front, militants from the 35th brigade’s 503th marine battalion fired one grenade with an under-barrel grenade launcher at the village of Gagarin Mine.
- At the Donetsk front, militants from the 79th brigade’s 3rd airborne assault battalion were carrying out engineer work to retrofit their positions near Maryinka.
- At the Mariupol front, DPR observers to the JCCC registered an explosion that occurred at positions of the 36th brigade’s separate marine battalion in the Vodyanoye area during engineer work. In order to conceal the circumstances of this occurrence, militants opened fire with an under-barrel grenade launcher at Kominternovo twice, having fired eight grenades. Since the beginning of the current 24-hour period, militants from the 36th brigade’s marine battalion have carried on combat provocations, having fired three more rounds with a grenade machine gun at DPR People’s Militia positions near Leninskoye.
The facts of gross ceasefire violation were promptly brought to the attention of Ukrainian representatives to the JCCC in order to take measures against the violators.
In addition, seven units of armament and military equipment of the AFU were found to be deployed near residential buildings and municipal facilities in the Ukraine-controlled territory over the past 24 hours.
In order to conceal from observers prohibited weapons and military equipment deployed in violation of the Minsk Agreements, Ukrainian military units continue to actively use EW means at the Mariupol front to disable the work of OSCE SMM unmanned aerial vehicles flying over the territory occupied by the AFU along the line of contact.
