During the meeting of the working group on economic issues, which was held on Tuesday, Ukrainian negotiators again delayed the process of discussing the problem of pension payment to residents of the Republic, DPR Minister of Labor and Social Policy Larisa Tolstykina commented on this situation.
“Despite the insistent demands from both the Republic and the OSCE coordinator, representatives of Kiev cannot intelligently explain what the so-called “green corridors”, which have already been quite widely advertised in the Ukrainian media, are. Moreover, according to the same Ukrainian negotiators, the implementation of the concept of “green corridors” is currently at the design phase, and the question of what regulations are needed for its work is being resolved.
In addition, as it turned out, the Ukrainian side also has no understanding when they will be able to arrange for points of social benefits and pension payment. There is no standard of work of checkpoints, there is no clear list of facilities and services that are provided at the checkpoints.
At the moment, the actions of the Ukrainian authorities look like an attempt to hide the absolute reluctance to facilitate the renewal of payments behind their imaginary enthusiasm, they only make loud statements in the public spotlight.
As a result, we can once again see Ukraine’s indifferent and apathetic attitude towards the citizens living in the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic,” Larisa Tolstykina claimed.
