In connection with the agreements the Trilateral Contact Group reached at the talks in Minsk on July 22, 2020, we are proceeding to a full and indefinite ceasefire.
All military personnel of the People’s Militia are prohibited to use any weapons, including small arms, starting 00.01 a.m. July 27, 2020.
On instructions from the Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the People’s Militia Directorate issued a corresponding order, which has been duly submitted to all the units and each soldier for signature.
In addition, commanders of all the units have instructed their personnel. The military understand and support the decision of the Contact Group on the indefinite ceasefire. The list of additional measures for the enhancement and control of the effective indefinite ceasefire regime has also been brought to the notice. Commanders of each unit are monitoring compliance with the reached agreements along the entire line of contact.
In the event of aggression from the opposing side, the People’s Militia is prepared to respond adequately, if ordered.
