Units of the DPR Ministry of Emergency Situations have drilled practical actions to put out fires that resulted from attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in administrative and residential buildings, Minister for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters of the DPR, Lieutenant General of Civil Defense Service Alexey Kostrubitsky stated today, on October 29.
In the course of the training, rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations put out a conventional fire and evacuated affected population. Such exercises are conducted to ascertain that the forces and means of EMERCOM units are constantly ready for action as intended.
When carrying out such activities, the personnel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations hone their professional skills and physical condition, as well as practice to extinguish fires, tactical thinking and skills of senior staff to guide the actions of units in the performance of duties of various employees during a fire.
