During the week, the enemy committed nine firing provocations against the Donetsk People’s Republic, as the result of which two defenders of the DPR were killed at the Mariupol front on December 4, Spokesman for the DPR PMD Colonel Eduard Basurin told about this in more detail during the briefing in Donetsk on December 6.
Two days later, militants from the 79th AFU brigade’s 2nd air assault battalion opened fire on the Donetsk front using a BMP-2 from a residential area of Maryinka. During the attack, the enemy fired twenty 30mm rounds at the village of Trudovskaya Mine, Donetsk. Two houses at 84 Karnavalnaya and 1/3 Bokiya were damaged as the result of the attack.
For the first time in the past two months, local residents were forced to hide again in the basements of their houses, which made it possible to avoid tragic consequences.
During the attacks, the enemy deliberately hid behind civilians in Maryinka.
The evidence of the committed crime was transferred to representatives of international organizations in the Republic, as well as to the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office for inclusion in the criminal case against commander of the 79th AFU separate air assault brigade Lutsenko and his subordinates.
