Today, on August 31, a flower-laying ceremony at the bust of the first head of our state Alexander Zakharchenko took place near the memorial complex “To Your Liberators, Donbass!” on the Alley of Heroes in Donetsk. According to a correspondent of the official website of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the event was attended by incumbent Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin, Alexander Zakharchenko’s relatives and friends, as well as his colleagues.
“Today is a tragic date for the Republic. Two years ago, Ukrainian security agencies organized a terrorist attack that took the life of the first Head of the Republic. Alexander Zakharchenko always defended the interests of our country’s citizens. He was a real military commander and a real Russian person. Alexander Zakharchenko knew what the truth was and what the lies. He did not tolerate betrayal and aggressors who encroached on our land. People like him are the first to rally to the defense of the Homeland, intercepting the enemies.
The Republic remembers its heroes. Eternal memory and glory to Alexander Zakharchenko!” Denis Pushilin said.
Recall that the first Head of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko (1976 — 2018) was killed in a terrorist attack organized by Ukrainian security agencies.
