The reconstruction of roofs of residential buildings damaged by AFU hostilities is ongoing in the town of Debaltsevo. According to a correspondent of the DPR Official Website, the repair work is being carried out in apartment buildings on Mokrousova, Dzhulina, Kurchatova Streets, etc.
According to Chief of Housing and Public Utilities Department of the Debaltsevo Administration Sergey Vodolazskyi, funds have been allocated to repair roofs at six sites under the program of the DPR Construction Ministry.
“Work at these facilities began about three weeks ago. Today the repair of the roof of the house number 19 in Zavodskoy is completed. All that remains is to carry out plastering work in venting channels. Also in Zavodskoy, roofing work in the house number 37 is being finished. We will complete it this week,” he said.
Work on dismantling the remnants of the old roof is ongoing at other residential buildings and a new roof is being built. Sergey Vodolazsky assured that all repair works at these sites would be completed before the autumn bad weather.
