“Dear friends, compatriots! I greet the forum on behalf of the whole Crimea. Know that the Crimeans are always with you! You will always find in us like-minded people, friends and brothers, ready to render you any possible support.
The lands of Donbass and the Crimean peninsula became part of the Russian state in one historical epoch. At the same time there was the reclaiming of our lands. Crimeans, residents of Donbass stood shoulder to shoulder and defended their Motherland during the Great Patriotic War. Together we were rebuilding the country, overcoming the postwar devastation. Together we rejoiced at Gagarin’s flight, beautified and glorified our common country,” he said.
Vladimir Konstantinov stressed that, having ended up within the boundaries of independent Ukraine against their will, Crimea and Donbass did not stop fighting for the preservation of their identity, for the Russian language and Russian culture.
“For our right to maintain an organic connection with our compatriots in the Russian Federation. It was a daily and persistent struggle for the Russian world. We understand our self-definition in the same way as our legal right to reunification with other Russian lands within the unified Russian state. That is why in Crimea we warmly welcome the idea of development of the Russian Donbass Doctrine, we share its main ideas and are ready to assist in its implementation as soon as possible. Let’s hope and work so that you will make your way home faster!
It is very important that you and us do not forget about our compatriots who ended up under the heel of the puppet Kiev regime, illegal in the political and legal sense and terroristic in essence. Our native people are subjected to cultural discrimination, linguistic terror and political persecution. Hundreds of thousands of human destinies are being broken, and entire generations are being raised with Russophobia-poisoned minds. We cannot put up with it! And our struggle will be complete only after the liberation of all our compatriots in the territory of Ukraine. I have no doubt that we will definitely achieve this goal.
Russia is behind us! Behind us are thousands of years of victorious traditions of our people. From our early childhood we have known that God does not mean force, but truth. The truth is behind us, and that means Victory will be ours!” Konstantinov stated.
