The villages of Sergeyevka and Kominternovo of the Novoazovsky district of the Republic were left without power due to attacks by the armed forces of Ukraine, the press service of the DPR Ministry of Coal and Energy reports.
Both villages came under fire from Kiev militants on January 28. The transformer TM-160 kVA was damaged. in Kominternovo at the transformer substation-240, 29 household users were without electricity, ammunition fragments cut the 10 kV insulator of the unitized transformer substation number 99 in Sergeyevka, 51 household users were left without electricity.
Repair work requires the approval from the Joint Ceasefire Monitoring and Coordination Centre and the guarantees from the Ukrainian side to observe the ceasefire, which Kiev has been very reluctant to provide recently.
For example, the line that was damaged as a result of bad weather on 13 January this year, which supplies power to the village of Tavricheskoye in the Telmanovsky district, was only fixed by electricians on 26 January. The site of the line break was in the gray zone, and the Ukrainian side coordinated the request for repair work submitted by the DPR State Unitary Enterprise ‘Regional Energy Supply Company’ only at the beginning of this week.
