On February 3, Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin took part in a regular meeting of the Inter-Agency Operational Headquarters on the prevention of the importation and spread of the new coronavirus infection caused by 2019-nCoV in the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the press service of the Head of the DPR reports.
At the end of the meeting, the Head of State noted that the third day of the vaccination is underway in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
“More than 1,200 people have been vaccinated to date. In total, more than 50 thousand people from priority categories—health care workers, teachers and social workers—are going to be vaccinated. This is what has been submitted according to the lists from agencies and ministries. In addition, more than six thousand people signed up on the website of the Ministry of Health. After that, it is planned to vaccinate the military of the Donetsk People’s Republic,” Denis Pushilin said.
The Head of the DPR also added that he feels fine after the vaccination he had two days ago.
We shall remind you that on February 1, 2021, the vaccination campaign against the coronavirus infection with the Russian medication Sputnik V began in the Donetsk People’s Republic. The country’s leader was among the first to be vaccinated against the coronavirus.
The first batch of the vaccine arrived in the Republic on January 30, and the next day it was distributed among vaccination rooms of primary healthcare centers in Donetsk. A total of 38 facilities will be involved in the vaccination process.
