The Republic has received SARS-CoV-2 Antibody reagent kits for 10,000 antibody tests. These medical items were donated to the Donetsk People’s Republic by South Ossetia as humanitarian aid to combat the coronavirus, the press office of the Administration of the DPR Head reports.
Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin commended the authorities and residents of the Republic of South Ossetia for their support, describing it as important and timely.
“We are grateful to the President of South Ossetia and all its residents for their timely support. It is especially important today, when we can see the results of the efforts made to combat COVID and a decrease in the coronavirus infection. But the threat still remains significant and we cannot lose control. The tests will help check whether those who contact a large number of people in the line of duty are immune,” Denis Pushilin said.
Remind that last spring the Donetsk People’s Republic transferred to South Ossetia personal protective equipment, disinfectants and medications for activities aimed at countering the spreading threat of the coronavirus.
