The AFU militants have carried out three combat provocations on the Gorlovka and Mariupol front over the past day, Spokesman for the DPR People’s Militia Directorate Colonel Eduard Basurin reported at the briefing in Donetsk on October 2.
From the positions of the 2nd battalion of the 24th separate mechanised AFU brigade deployed near Novoluganskoye, a grenade launcher was twice engaged at Dolomitnoye. Three grenades were fired in the village’s direction. From the positions of the 36th marine AFU battalion near Vodyanoye, the militants engaged portable and under-barrel grenade launchers, firing six grenades in the Leninskoye direction.
At that, three militants of a marine battalion of the 36th separate marine brigade were detected when carrying out engineering works to equip their positions near Vodyanoye.
