The political tactics of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is based on lies and manipulation and leading Ukraine to an inevitable abyss, Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin said.
Earlier, Zelensky stated that Kiev cannot terminate the civil war in the territory of Donbass without a dialogue with Russia. According to Zelensky, his contacts with Vladimir Putin are limited, but substantive. At that, the Ukrainian President said that he would like such contacts to be more efficient.
Denis Pushilin stressed that a direct dialogue has to be established between the opposing sides for the situation to be settled peacefully. He noted that the two parties to the conflict are Ukraine and the people’s republics of Donbass.
“The intention to deceive his people once again forces Zelensky to make statements that are remote from the actual state of affairs. And here he has again expressed the desire to allegedly «stop the war», for which to be achieved, in his opinion, it is necessary to negotiate with Russia. Instead of really heading towards peace in a dialogue with the republics as with the other party to the conflict, he is rigorously removing all those who propose the only possible peaceful path,” Denis Pushilin explained.
According to the Head of the DPR, the lies and manipulations that Zelensky resorts to as the basis of his political tactics are slowly but surely leading Ukraine to an inevitable abyss.
“But, apparently, neither he nor his team are capable of making decisions of their own, developing the ideas that would be fundamentally different from those with which his predecessors started the war against the Donbass people,” Denis Pushilin concluded.
