Dear residents of the Republic, I sincerely congratulate you on National Flag Day!
This holiday is especially significant for all those who cherish their Motherland, who make every effort to see it strong and prosperous.
The flag of our state has become a symbol of the struggle for independence since the moment it rose up into the sky. Beneath it, the defenders of the Republic made a stand for our lands and won our people the right to live in a free country.
Today, the National Flag embodies our strength and unity, marks the feat of our fellow countrymen. It is inscribed in the heroic history of Donbass by the loyalty and selflessness of the civilian population, the firmness and courage of warriors who fell on battlefield.
The price of our freedom is great. Also great is the desire to save the Motherland, memory, history and traditions for future generations. This is what we fight for. Nobody but us will dare to determine the fate of Donbass. This is the right only of those who live and work here.
