The XXV international bike show organized by the Night Wolves motorcycle club, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory, began on Saturday of August 8, near Sevastopol at the foot of Mount Gasforta. Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin visited the event.
Thousands of bikers from many cities and towns of the Russian Federation took part in the grandiose performance.
The delegation of more than 100 motorcyclists from the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics were personally welcomed by leader of the Night Wolves International Club Alexander Zaldostanov (Surgeon).
According to Vitaly Kishkinov, the president of the Night Wolves. Donbass Motorcycle Club, bikers from the People’s Republics were actively involved in organizing this large-scale event this year.
The pinnacle event of the bike show entitled “The Collapse of Babylon” was dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory. Its author and director is Alexander Zaldostanov.
The legendary T-34 tank, an exhibit of the Federal State Educational Institution of Culture “Sevastopol Military Historical Reserve Museum”, as well as originals from the private museum of historical armament in Russia (museum of Vadim Zadorozhny) and exhibits of the museum-panorama “Battle of Stalingrad” were used during the event.
Performers from the Nikulin Moscow circus for the first time performed a stunt that was performed earlier at a height of three times less on the stage of a bike show at a height of 35 meters. Stuntmen soaring to the sky caused a special delight among the audience. Demonstration of stunts by acrobats and stuntmen was accompanied by bright pyrotechnics.
“Every action, every performance of the actors implies a certain connotation and carries a certain message. Alexander Zaldostanov did his best to use the meanings understandable to everyone during the culmination,” the Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic shared with journalists his impressions.
He also stressed the importance of events featuring a strong patriotic component, such as this bike show, in fighting against attempts to distort the historical truth.
“It is the rewriting of history that might lead to war, as it happened in 2014 in Donbass,” Denis Pushilin said.
This year, Russian politician and former professional boxer Nikolay Valuyev was among the guests of the event. He noted that he decided to come to the bike show, because it was dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory.
The program of the first day of the bike show featured a rock concert by Vadim Samoilov (Agatha Christie), bands Aria, Pilot, project Gorshenev, Alexander F. Sklyar, band Va-Bank and others.
On the second day, August 9, a motorcycle convoy went along the route of Mount Gasforta—Nakhimov Square in Sevastopol. After it returned to the foot of Gasforta, the participants in the bike show were offered entertainment and sports programs.
