Russia has provided the republics with inestimable political and humanitarian assistance throughout the years of war in Donbass. White KamAZ trucks saved people from starvation at the beginning of the conflict, and the recognition of the DPR and the LPR documents by the Russian Federation has restored the civil rights of the Donbass residents.
Today (on November 15), by his decree, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin has taken another vital step in supporting the Republics – Russia has fully opened its markets to the goods produced in our country.
The recognition of our goods’ certificates of origin, their admission to public procurement on a par with Russian goods, the abolition of quantitative restrictions, that is, quotas, on both our exports and imports from Russia provides industrial enterprises in the DPR and the LPR the same rights as those of manufacturers from the Russian Federation.
One can hardly diminish the importance of this decree for the Donbass Republics during the economic blockade! This will help our enterprises to expand their markets, develop production facilities and increase the number of work places.
I would like to express gratitude to the President of the Russian Federation on behalf of the Donetsk People’s Republic residents for taking a humanitarian step which is so vital for Donbass.
Denis Pushilin,
Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic
