The negligent attitude of the Ukrainian side to the observance of the ceasefire regime has resulted in more casualties among the civilian population, the DPR delegation to the Contact Group stated.
“The unwillingness of Kiev officials to discuss issues related to the specification of provisions of the measures for the enhancement of the ceasefire regime and to enable the work of the coordination mechanism for preventing ceasefire violations is directly reflected in the actions of the Ukrainian armed forces.
Thus, according to the DPR Representative Office to the JCCC, a civilian from Aleksandrovka was wounded in the attack by the AFU on 30 January at around 22:00. Also, as the result of massive shelling with the use of weapons prohibited by the Minsk Agreements, residential buildings were damaged in Signalnoye.
Full information on the recent war crimes the AFU committed was sent in official notices to the OSCE Special Representative in Ukraine, Ms. Heidi Grau, and to the Chief of the OSCE SMM and Coordinator of the Working Group on Security Issues, Mr. Yaşar Halit Çevik,
The increase in the number of ceasefire violations by the AFU clearly demonstrates the Ukrainian authorities’ careless attitude to the agreements reached earlier on the security track. The DPR leadership urges Kiev to stop its attacks on the territory of the Republic and to abandon any attempts to further escalate the conflict,” the statement reads.
