For the past day, the armed forces of Ukraine carried out two acts of warmongering, having opened fire on the Donetsk front, spokesman for the DPR People’s Militia Directorate Oleg Nikitin reported at the briefing on October 13.
Militants from the 54th brigade twice shelled the area of Yakovlevka, having fired ten 82mm mortar shells, when repair work was being carried out to railroad tracks at the Donetsk-Yasinovataya section, about which the Ukrainian side was informed in advance.
Since the beginning of the 24-hour period, militants from the 23rd battalion of the 56th AFU brigade have opened fire with an automatic grenade launcher at Zhabunki, having fired 15 rounds.
Information about the attacks has been transferred to representatives of international organizations stationed in the Republic and to the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office for the inclusion in criminal cases against the 56th brigade’s commander.
Militants from the 37th battalion of the 56th brigade were also carrying out engineer work to improve their positions near Peski.
The command of the Vostok Task Force has again violated Paragraph 3 of the Additional Measures for the Enhancement and Control of the Ceasefire Regime, as evidenced by the OSCE report of October 12, 2020, which documents the fact that AFU units deployed weapons and military equipment near residential buildings and municipal facilities in the Ukraine-controlled territory.
Thus, the 35th separate marine brigade deployed five BM-21 Grad MLRSs in Druzhkovka. Two BTR-60s from the 56th separate motorized infantry brigade were spotted in Karlovka. In addition, two soldiers from the 53rd separate mechanized brigade were spotted at former positions of the armed forces of Ukraine within the Petrovskoye disengagement area.
