Over the past 24 hours, the armed forces of Ukraine violated the Complex of Additional Ceasefire Compliance Measures six times, having carried out five provocations with the use of weaponry, a spokesman for the DPR PMD informed the details during the briefing in Donetsk on January 18.
- At the Mariupol front, militants from the 36th AFU brigade attacked twice the Novaya Tavriya area with underbarrel grenade launchers from positions of the marine battalion near Lebedinskoye and opened fire at Leninskoye with small arms. Also, from positions of the 501st separate battalion near Shyrokino, the AFU twice attacked Sakhanka with grenade launchers, having fired six rounds.
In addition, there was one violation of Clause 1 of the Additional Measures. Particularly, engineer work was being conducted in the Peski area.
Since the beginning of the current 24-hour period, militants from the marine battalion of the 36th brigade have attacked Leninskoye with small arms from positions in the Vodyanoye area.
The facts of violation have been promptly brought to the attention of representatives of the Ukrainian side to the JCCC in order to take action against the perpetrators and exclude the falsification of data on ceasefire violations by Ukrainian militants.
It has also been revealed that the 36th AFU separate marine brigade deployed two infantry fighting vehicles in Lebedinskoye, Krasnoarmeyskaya Street.
