For the past day, the AFU nine times violated the Additional Measures for the Enhancement and Control of the current truce, having committed eight combat provocations, spokesman for the DPR People’s Militia Directorate Oleg Nikitin reported at the briefing on October 19.
- On the Donetsk front, in violation of Clause 2 of the Additional Measures, militants from the 1st battalion of the 54th AFU brigade, from their positions near Avdeyevka, opened fire four times with 82mm mortars, grenade launchers and small arms at Yakovlevka and Spartak, having fired five shells and one RPG round. It should be noted that the 54th brigade used a UAV to adjust the fire on Spartak, it was launched in the Avdeyevka area.
From positions of the 2nd battalion of the 54th brigade, Ukrainian militants opened fire twice at Kashtanovoye and Mineralnoye with small arms.
Militants from the 37th battalion of the 56th AFU brigade, from their positions near Opytnoye, opened fire with an automatic grenade launcher at Spartak, having fired six rounds.
- On the Mariupol front, the 501st separate marine battalion opened small arms fire at Kominternovo, using silencers to prevent the OSCE SMM from registering ceasefire violations.
Since the beginning of the current 24-hour period, the 36th AFU brigade in the Talakovka attacked civilians living in Kominternovo with small arms.
Ukrainian representatives to the JCCC were promptly notified of these facts in order not to allow accusing DPR People’s Militia units of the provocations.
