The OSCE SMM regularly registers in its reports the absence of prohibited weapon types at AFU’s storage sites. In addition, according to the DPR Representative Office to the JCCC, the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic is daily targeted with weapons of various systems and calibres prohibited by the Minsk agreements. The DPR delegation to the Contact Group commented on the situation.
“The use of artillery systems, the rotation of armed formations and the concentration of heavy equipment, forces and assets, point in the same direction: the Ukrainian authorities are preparing for another round of the conflict escalation.
Any attempt of Ukraine’s representatives to justify the transfer of the AFU troops to Donbass and the conduct of the Ukrainian delegation within the negotiation process constitute just another absurd provocation.
The Donetsk People’s Republic is ready for any scenario. However, we do not consider the military solution to be an acceptable option for resolving the conflict and urge Kiev to come to its senses before it is too late and to finally assume the responsibilities under the peace settlement plan enshrined in the Minsk agreements,” the DPR delegation to the Contact Group stated.
