For the past 24 hours, the armed forces of Ukraine violated the additional measures for the enhancement and control of the effective indefinite ceasefire regime six times. The enemy used UAVs twice and carried out engineering works in the vicinity of three populated localities four times. Ukrainian militants did not open fire, spokesman for the DPR People’s Militia Directorate Dmitry Astrakhan reported during the briefing on August 25.
Yesterday, the Ukrainian side once again violated the first clause of the additional measures for the enhancement and control of the effective truce, namely the ban on the use of any aircraft.
Two drones of Phantom make and Mavic 2 make were spotted in the areas of Novoluganskoye and Vodyanoye, with their help militants from the 2nd battalion of the 24th brigade and an airborne assault battalion of the 36th brigade were monitoring the engineer preparation of their positions and tried to reconnoiter our positions.
In addition, militants from the 18th and 137th battalions of the 35th brigade continued to carry out engineering works in Shumy, Zhovanka and Novgorodskoye.
The Republic’s defenders did not give in to the acts of warmongering, did not open fire and were watching the enemy, strictly observing the ceasefire regime.
