The worsening epidemiological situation related to the spread of the coronavirus infection require authorities of the Republic to be ready for immediate action in various circumstances, Minister for Civil Protection, Emergencies and Natural Disaster Control of the DPR, Lieutenant General of the Civil Protection Service Alexei Kostrubitsky stated today, on October 26.
“Thus, in accordance with the decision of the Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, in the course of the campaign against the spread of the coronavirus infection in the territory of the Republic, units of the DPR Ministry of Emergency Situations plan to conduct a comprehensive exercise between October 28 and 29 to deploy a medical camp for the hospitalization of population infected with contagious diseases, in particular the coronavirus infection.
As part of the exercise, officers of the DPR Ministry of Emergencies will drill the deployment of a medical camp in a real-case scenario.
We ask the citizens of the Republic to be understanding of the ongoing activities,” the DPR Emergencies Minister noted.
He also said that such drills are a necessary element in the personnel training system to hone coherent action between rescuer units and medical workers to prepare them for different scenarios. All these operations are carried out according to the approved plans.
