The finals of the tank crews competition called Donetsk Onslaught, which soldiers from the DPR and the LPR took part in, has ended. The field training competition of tank crews was dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory and Day of Liberation of Donbass. Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin visited the event, a correspondent of the DPR Official Website reports.
Denis Pushilin warmly welcomed the participants in the competition.
“Today, artillerymen showed what they are capable of in the Starobeshevsky district, gunners and snipers demonstrated their skills in Gorlovka, and tankers were performing at the range in Torez. It is obvious to everyone that driving a heavy combat vehicle is quite a great achievement, and the skill of driving a tank and shooting with tank guns means professionalism.
Today we saw real professionals, tank crews, but it is the strongest ones who win. The winners have already been decided and I congratulate them,” Denis Pushilin said.
The Head of the Republic and General Major Denis Sinenkov, the chief of the DPR People’s Militia, presented awards to the winners of the third stage and the final stage of the competition of Donetsk Onslaught tank crews.
Denis Sinenkov noted that the crews have got an advanced level of training This event is held annually with the participation of the DPR and the LPR military.
