Russian journalist, radio and TV anchor and writer Vladimir Solovyov addressed participants in the integration forum, where the Russian Donbass Doctrine will be presented today at 14:00.
“Dear participants in the Russian Donbass Integration Forum, I physically cannot be with you today, the broadcast is in the evening. But believe me, I think all the time about what is happening in the center of Europe. About what is happening on the Russian land, what is happening to people who so many years after the end of the Great Patriotic War are still forced to defend their right to be anti-fascists, to fight for their land, for the right to live on their land, to love their heroes, their ancestors, with weapons in their hands.
What you are doing is a heroic deed. I feel personally guilty for not helping you enough. I wish that no one would ever dare to shoot in the direction of Donbass, not even look at it cross-eyed. I wish this seven-year hell would stop, and that you would live a decent and beautiful life. It is important for you that they stop interfering, that the Ukrainian fascists with their Bandera and Shukhevich understand that they cannot defeat Donbass.
No one will ever be able to break Donbass. You are Russian people, you are the salt of the Russian land. And I want things to get better. But my wish alone is not enough. I’m sure that all those who are with you now, all those who are watching the broadcast now, think the same way. I have no right to urge you to be patient, how is it possible to be patient with such thing? I just know that your hearts are the hearts of true patriots, people who are amazing in their beauty, and I understand that the truth is on your side, and therefore you will win. Russian Donbass is the choice of Donbass. And thank you for your courage and patience,” Vladimir Solovyov said in his address.
