Yesterday we spent the whole day talking, travelling. Saw hospitals, schools, talked with people. And what we saw strengthened our feeling that the best qualities of the Russian people, the best qualities of the Russian spirit are reflected in every person we met here.

The people of Donbass want the opportunity to be Russian. We are obliged to ensure this opportunity. The people of Donbass want to speak Russian so that no one could challenge this right with some laws or paperwork. And we must give them this opportunity. The people of Donbas want to live at home and be part of the great Motherland. And we have to ensure that for them.
