Over the past 24 hours, the armed forces of Ukraine carried out five provocations with the use of weaponry, including 120mm mortars, which are prohibited by the Minsk Agreements. Official representative of the DPR PMD Colonel Eduard Basurin said more about this at the briefing in Donetsk on February 5.
- Thus, at the Gorlovka front, militants of the 35the separate marine brigade twice shelled Gorlovka, having fired fifteen 120mm mortar shells and twenty AGS grenades.
- At the Mariupol front, Leninskoye was attacked twice from positions of the 36th separate marine brigade. Eight 120 mm mortar shells and four grenades of an underbarrel grenade launcher were fired at the village. The village of Novovyboyevo was also attacked.
Defenders of the Republic did not respond to the provocations and continued to monitor the enemy while strictly observing the ceasefire regime.
