Militants from the 36, 56, 54 and 35 brigades of the AFU carried out 13 combat provocations this week, spokesman for the DPR People’s Militia Directorate Colonel Eduard Basurin reported at the briefing on October 16.
The AFU opened fire at Leninskoye, Dzerzhinskoye, Kashtanovoye, Yakovlevka, Mineralnoye, Zhabunki and Donetsk, having violated Clause 2 of the Additional Measures for the Enhancement and Control of the current truce, namely, the ban on firing.
In addition, our monitors reported three explosions at positions of the 54th AFU Brigade this week.
“The OSCE Mission confirmed more facts of deployment of weapons and military equipment of AFU units near residential houses and municipal facilities in the territory under Ukrainian control, which is a violation of Clause 3 of the Additional Measures. This week, the mission’s monitors reported 60 units of weapons and military equipment of the Vostok Task Force, deployed in populated localities,” Eduard Basurin stated.
In order to conceal engineering works and deployed weapons, militants from the 36 AFU brigade used Bukovel-AD EW stations from an EW reconnaissance company to jam the flight control channels of OSCE UAVs in the direction of Mariupol near Lebedinskoye and Vodyanoye.
