The Ukrainian side is getting ready to launch an attack on DPR territories on September 7 and 8, according to the message from the email account of the 72nd Psychological Operations Center, obtained by Joker DPR, an anonymous hacker group.
It reads that the armed forces of Ukraine are going to commit a false flag operation in response to the statement from Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin on delivering an artillery barrage on AFU positions near Shumy.
“At 8:00 on September 7, illegal armed forces of the so-called DPR will launch an artillery strike on our positions in the vicinity of Shumy. Our artillery units have been instructed to launch an artillery attack on Gorlovka and Donetsk in the second half of the day on September 7, 2020, and the first half of the day on September 8, 2020. The attacks will be launched on civilian areas as well, which may lead to casualties among the civilian population.
Your unit must prepare outreach activities for the shaping of public opinion in Ukraine, certain territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk Regions, Russia, based on the following theses:
— Illegal armed forces of the certain territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk Regions provoked return fire from the AFU, which means they are responsible for civilian casualties;
— Pushilin is personally responsible for civilian casualties;
— AFU artillery only hit positions in the certain territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk Regions, but some shells may have deviated from the specified coordinates due to the use of old Soviet armaments;
— AFU artillery only hit positions in the certain territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk Regions, and the militias themselves launched mortar and artillery attacks on civilian areas to accuse the AFU of this,” the intercepted message of the 72nd Psychological Operations Center reads.
